Following on from the Council’s answer (H-0132/08) concerning the plight of Antonio Guerrero, Fernando González, Gerardo Hernández, Ramón Labañino, and René González, Cuban patriots who had sought to defend their country in the face of terrorist acts being fomented and mounted by US-based organisations in Miami, one point that needs to be clarified is whether the UN Working Group on Arbitrary Detention has ever commented on the issue of visas to the relatives of these five Cuban patriots imprisoned in the US.
