– (ES) Mr President, I would like to congratulate the rapporteur, Mr Hughes, on the report on the organisation of seafarer’s working time and for his proposal to Parliament to approve, without amendments, the Council’s common position on the enforcement of seafarers’ hours of work on board ships using Community ports.
