Les GECT peuvent offrir la possibilité de renforcer la promotion et la concrétisation du développement harmonieux de l'Union dans son ensemble ainsi que la cohésion économique, sociale et territoriale de ses régions, notamment, et de contribuer à la réalisation des objectifs de la stratégie Europe 2020 pour une croissance durable, intelligente et inclusive (ci-après dénommée "stratégie Europe 2020").
EGTCs can have the potential to enhance the promotion and achievement of the harmonious development of the Union as a whole and the economic, social and territorial cohesion of its regions, in particular, and to contribute to meeting the objectives of the Europe 2020 strategy for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth (‘Europe 2020 strategy’).
