2. This Decision shall enter into force on 1 September 2012 and shall be published in the Official Gazette of the Italian Republic and the Authority’s website and, for Annex A only, in the Official Journal of the European Union.

Conformément à l’article 5, paragraphe 1, de la directive 94/22/CE, nous communiquons d'autre part que les critères sur la base desquels sont délivrés les permis de prospection, les permis d'extraction et les concessions d'exploitation ont déjà été publiés au Journal officiel de l'Union européenne C 396 du 19 décembre 1998 en faisant référence aux dispositions du décret législatif no 625 du président de la République du 25 novembre 1996 (publié à la Gazzetta ufficiale della Repubblica Italiana no 293 du 14 décembre 1996) transposant et appliquant la directive précitée dans l’ordre juridique italien, et ont été précisés par la loi no 14 de la Région de Sicile du 3 juillet 2000, déjà indiquée, publiée à la Gazzetta Ufficiale della Regione Siciliana no 32 du 7 juillet 2000).
In accordance with Article 5(1) of Directive 94/22/EC, notice is also given that the criteria on the basis of which prospection licences, exploration licences and production licences are issued have already been published in Official Journal of the European Communities C 396 of 19 December 1998, with reference to Legislative Decree of the President of the Republic No 625 of 25 November 1996 (published in Official Gazette of the Italian Republic No 293 of 14 December 1996), which transposes and implements the above mentioned Directive into Italian law, and were specified in Regional Law of Sicily No 14 of 3 July 2000 (published in Official Gazette of the Region of Sicily No 32 of 7 July 2000).

The conditions and requirements regarding the performance or cessation of activities are laid down in the above mentioned Regional Law of Sicily No 14 of 3 July 2000 and in the Standard Specifications issued by Decree No 91 of 30 October 2003 and Decree No 88 of 20 October 2004 of the Regional Minister for Industry and published in the Official Gazette of the Region of Sicily Part I, No 49 of 14 November 2003 and Part I, No 46 of 5 November 2004 respectively.
