TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

Sont éligibles les régions de niveau NUTS III situées le long des frontières terrestres internes, certaines frontières externes ainsi que certaines régions le long des frontières maritimes séparées par un maximum de 150 kilomètres. La Commission doit adopter une liste des régions éligibles.
13 Regions eligible for funding are those regions at NUTS III level which are situated along internal land borders, certain external land borders and certain regions situated along maritime borders separated by a maximum of 150 km. The Commission will adopt a list of eligible regions.

K. considérant qu'afin de renforcer la stabilité et de promouvoir des relations de bon voisinage, la Turquie doit intensifier ses efforts pour apporter une solution aux problèmes bilatéraux en suspens, y compris les obligations légales non résolues et les différends relatifs aux frontières terrestres et maritimes et à l'espace aérien avec ses voisins immédiats, conformément aux dispositions de la Charte des Nations unies et du droit international;
K. whereas, with a view to enhancing stability and promoting good neighbourly relations, Turkey needs to step up efforts to resolve outstanding bilateral issues, including unsettled legal obligations and disputes with its immediate neighbours over land and maritime borders and airspace, in accordance with the provisions of the UN Charter and with international law;

H. considérant que, dans son propre intérêt, et afin de renforcer la stabilité et de promouvoir des relations de bon voisinage, la Turquie doit intensifier ses efforts pour apporter une solution aux problèmes bilatéraux en suspens, y compris les obligations légales non résolues et les différends relatifs aux frontières terrestres et maritimes et à l'espace aérien avec ses voisins immédiats, conformément aux dispositions de la Charte des Nations unies et du droit international;

(c) le projet concerne au minimum deux États membres s'il traverse directement la frontière terrestre ou maritime d'un ou plusieurs États membres, s'il est situé sur le territoire de l'un de ces États membres mais a néanmoins une incidence transfrontalière conséquente, s'il présente, dans le cas d'un renforcement interne, un intérêt pour une interconnexion transfrontalière conformément à l'annexe IV, point 1, ou s'il vise à connecter des îles et des régions périphériques aux régions centrales de l'Union.
(c) the project involves at least two Member States if directly crossing the border at land or at sea of one or more Member States, or if being located on the territory of one Member State but nevertheless having a significant cross-border impact, or in the case of an internal reinforcement, the project is relevant to a cross-border interconnection as set out in point 1 of Annex IV, or if it has the purpose of connecting islands and peripheral regions to central regions of the Union;

G. considérant que, dans son propre intérêt, et afin de renforcer la stabilité et de promouvoir des relations de bon voisinage ainsi qu'un partenariat politique et économique aux retombées positives, la Turquie doit intensifier ses efforts pour apporter une solution aux problèmes bilatéraux en suspens avec ses voisins immédiats, y compris les obligations légales non résolues et les différends relatifs aux frontières terrestres et maritimes et à l'espace aérien, conformément aux dispositions de la Charte des Nations unies et du droit international;
G. whereas, for its own benefit, and with a view to enhancing stability and promoting good neighbourly relations and positive political and economic partnership, Turkey needs to step up efforts to solve outstanding bilateral issues, including unsettled legal obligations and land and maritime border and airspace disputes with its immediate neighbours, in accordance with the provisions of the UN Charter and with international law;

Relativement peu d'États membres ont des frontières terrestres et/ou maritimes d'une certaine longueur ou d'une importance géopolitique qui requièrent une surveillance étroite et précise – ces pays assument l'essentiel de la responsabilité du contrôle de l'immigration clandestine et de la sauvegarde de la sécurité interne en contrôlant le franchissement des frontières extérieures de l'espace Schengen.
Comparatively few Member States have land and/or sea borders of any length or geopolitical importance which require close and detailed surveillance - these bear the brunt of the responsibility for controlling illegal immigration and for safeguarding internal security by controlling the crossing of external borders of the Schengen area.
