The Agency should contribute towards raising the awareness of individual users of electronic communications, infrastructure and services, including by assisting Member States, where they have chosen to use the public interest information platform provided for in Directive 2002/22/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 7 March 2002 on universal service and users’ rights relating to electronic communications networks and services (Universal Service Directive) (10), to produce relevant public interest information regarding network and information security, and also by assisting in the development of such information to be included with the supply of new devices intended for use on public communications networks.

This impact assessment concludes that the proposed removal of micro-entities from the scope of the 4th Company Law Directive is expected to have a positive impact on reduction of administrative reporting burden for micro-entities, creating opportunities for the provision of more relevant and understandable information to main users, creditors and management while having no significant negative impact on the information to the external stakeholders and creditor protection and for cross-border trade.
