Calls on the Commission to evaluate and, if necessary, reform the role and functioning of the EAHF, in order to ensure that its membership is truly representative of all relevant stakeholders, in a balanced manner, with proper representation of economic operators and NGOs, and to work on encouraging and supporting their participation to the Forum and their commitment to developing concrete and effective actions to reduce alcohol-related harm and supporting targeted actions which are relevant at the national, regional and local levels;

The objective of this action is to obtain an independent analysis of and information about the progress of the Platform for action on diet, physical activity and health and the European Alcohol and Health Forum led by key stakeholders and main economic operators willing to support Member States in improving the health of European citizens.

La Commission poursuivra la mise en place de partenariats avec ces dernières en s’appuyant sur l’expérience d’organismes tels que le forum de la santé, le forum européen «Alcool et santé» et la plate-forme «Alimentation, activité physique et santé».
The Commission will continue to develop partnerships with them, building on the experience of bodies such as the Health Forum, the European Alcohol and Health Forum, and the Platform on diet, physical activity and health.

32. Invites all stakeholders to promote, within the European Alcohol and Health Forum, the implementation of concrete actions and programmes to tackle alcohol-related harm, given that the main objective of the Forum would be to exchange best practice, collect commitment to engage in actions, secure proper evaluation of the actions and monitor their effective implementation; looks to the Commission also to involve representatives of Parliament in the European Alcohol and Health Forum and to submit annual reports to it on the progress made by the Forum;

This would take the form of exchanges of good practice to address issues such as selling and serving, irresponsible marketing, and the image of excessive alcohol use conveyed through the media and by role models, and could possibly be taken forward within the Alcohol and Health Forum referred to in Section 6.3.1. and in the implementation of the European Youth Pact[31] (aims 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8)
