Aussi, je suis fort sceptique quant à la faisabilité des objectifs et des buts fixés par ce rapport, compte tenu des positions connues du Conseil, de la Commission et de la plupart des gouvernements des États membres concernant la possibilité de modifier les orientations économiques et de revoir le pacte de stabilité afin d’accorder la priorité à l’augmentation de l’emploi de qualité donnant droit à l’insertion sociale. Néanmoins, je voudrais mettre l’accent sur les propositions positives, bien qu’inadaptées, qui visent à améliorer la stratégie pour l’emploi.
Consequently, although I still entertain the gravest doubts over the feasibility of the targets and goals proposed in this report, given the well-known positions of the Council, the Commission and the governments of most of the Member States on the possibility of changing the economic guidelines or of any revision of the Stability Pact to prioritise growth in high-quality employment giving the right to social inclusion, I would underline the positive (though inadequate) proposals which aim to improve employment strategy.
