Gauzès, ainsi que les rapporteurs fictifs, pour l’excellent travail qui a été fourni concernant la directive sur les gestionnaires de fonds d’investissement alternatifs, garantissant que les fonds ont finalement un ensemble de règles uniformes dans toute l’Union européenne.
– (IT) Mr President, ladies and gentlemen, firstly, it seems obvious that I should thank the negotiators and, in particular, Mr Gauzès, together with the shadow rapporteurs, for the excellent work that has been achieved with regard to the directive on alternative investment fund managers, ensuring that the funds finally have a uniform set of rules within the entire European Union.

Unfortunately, the implementation of many such actions has revealed itself problematic, for which reason eventually funds have been transferred away from them.

Le paiement du solde ou la demande de remboursement des sommes payées au titre des préfinancements excédant les dépenses finales approuvées dans le cadre du Fonds sont effectués dans un délai n'excédant pas trois mois après approbation par la Commission du rapport final d'exécution et de la déclaration de dépenses finale du programme annuel visés à l'article 24, paragraphe 3, et à l'article 28, paragraphe 2.
4. Payment of the balance shall be made no more than three months after the Commission has approved the annual programme's final implementation report and the final declaration of expenditure provided for by Articles 24(3) and 28(2); failing that, a request for reimbursement of amounts released under the first or second payments in excess of the final expenditure approved for the Fund shall be issued within that deadline.

Deuxièmement, comme lui, je pense que nous n’avons pas à favoriser une concentration excessive dans des fonds qui finalement se révéleraient être un cheval de Troie pour les fonds de pensions américains.
Secondly, like him, I think that we should not promote excessive concentration in funds which, in the final analysis, will prove to be a Trojan horse for American pension funds.
