(20 bis) Dans un souci de cohérence entre les programmes faisant l'objet d'un soutien au titre de différents Fonds SIE, en particulier dans le but d'apporter une contribution à la stratégie de l'Union pour une croissance intelligente, durable et inclusive, il est nécessaire de définir des exigences minimales communes en ce qui concerne le contenu des programmes, qui peuvent être complétées par les règles spécifiques des Fonds pour tenir compte de la nature particulière de chaque Fonds SIE.
(20a) With a view to ensuring consistency between programmes supported under different European Structural and Investment Funds, particularly in the context of ensuring a contribution to the Union strategy for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth, it is necessary to set out common minimum requirements as regards the content of the programmes, which may be complemented by Fund specific-rules to take into account the specific nature of each European Structural and Investment Fund.

2 bis. Afin de déterminer les modalités selon lesquelles les Fonds SIE peuvent contribuer le plus efficacement à la stratégie Europe 2020 et de tenir compte des objectifs définis dans les traités, y compris la cohésion économique, sociale et territoriale, les États membres sélectionnent des objectifs thématiques pour le recours prévu aux Fonds SIE qui sont pertinents dans les contextes nationaux, régionaux et locaux concernés.
2a. In order to determine the way in which the European Structural and Investment Funds can most effectively contribute to the Europe 2020 strategy, and to take account of the Treaty objectives, including economic, social and territorial cohesion, Member States shall select the thematic objectives for the planned use of the European Structural and Investment Funds within the appropriate national, regional and local contexts.
