IN-CONTEXT TRANSLATIONS

Un programme de communication couvrant la période 2001-2006 a été préparé afin de définir l'information à fournir aux différents groupes cibles de l'ISPA. Ce programme insistait sur l'importance d'expliquer les procédures durant la première année et de faire connaître les résultats à partir de 2002. Il sera mis en oeuvre au moyen de contrats cadres que la Commission (DG Politique régionale) a conclus au début de 2002 et de contrats restant à conclure concernant l'exécution d'activités d'information et de communication pour les différents fonds relatifs à la cohésion économique et sociale (Fonds européen de développement régional, Fonds de cohésion et ISPA).
A 2001-2006 communication programme was prepared outlining the information to be provided to the different target groups for ISPA. It specified the importance to explain the procedures during the first year and to show results from 2002 on. It will be implemented by using the framework contracts that the Commission (DG Regional Policy) concluded early in 2002 and contracts still to be concluded for carrying information and communication activities in relation to different funds related tot he economic and social cohesion (the European Regional Development Fund, the Cohesion Fund and ISPA).

L’initiative devrait permettre à la Banque européenne d’investissement et au Fonds européen d’investissement de réaliser des opérations de financement et d’investissement dans les domaines mentionnés au point 1.4.1 avec des volumes de financement plus importants et, dans le cas de la BEI, en soutenant des projets plus risqués mais restant économiquement viables.
The initiative should allow the European Investment Bank and the European Investment Fund to carry out financing and investment operations in the areas mentioned under 1.4.1 with larger financing volume and, in the case of the EIB, with riskier but still “economically viable projects.

Invites the Commission to submit in 2007 a proposal for a European Waterway Transport Innovation Fund for the financing of new demand-based investments and innovative concepts of European interest in the area of logistics, technology and the environment requiring cross-border cooperation and interoperability; is of the opinion that this fund, as a key instrument of the NAIADES Action Programme, should be financed as to one third by the sector (the existing Inland Waterway [reserve] Fund, created under Regulation (EC) No 718/1999), as a means of co-financing, as to another third by the EU and as to the remaining third by the Member States; calls, further, on the Commission to draw up, in close cooperation with the sector, the conditions under which this fund should be established; points out that support for information offices should be considered as an option;

Les crédits restant à liquider au titre du Cadre Communautaire d’Appui et des Initiatives Communautaires 1994-1999 pour la Grèce s’élevaient à 1.527 millions € répartis entre les Fonds structurels comme suit: Fonds européen de développement régional (FEDER) 981 millions €, Fonds social européen (FSE) 365 millions €, Fonds européen d’orientation agricole (FEOGA) 163 millions €, Instrument financier d’orientation de la pêche (IFOP) 18 millions €.
(FR) The funds yet to be paid out under the Community Support Framework and the 1994-1999 Community Initiatives for Greece amount to EUR 1 527 million in total, divided up as follows among the Structural Funds: European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), EUR 981 million; European Social Fund (ESF), EUR 365 million; European Agricultural Guidance Fund (EAGGF), EUR 163 million; Financial Instrument for Fisheries Guidance (FIFG), EUR 18 million.
