Un débat est également en cours au Conseil sur la meilleure façon de cibler et d’octroyer les fonds au cours des prochaines perspectives financières afin qu’ils contribuent de manière optimale au développement régional de l’UE; une série de questions sont posées concernant les propositions de la Commission relatives à l’allocation des fonds, à la répartition entre les trois objectifs, à l’accent mis sur le financement de la convergence pour les régions plus riches, essentiellement dans les États membres plus riches, et à la répartition proposée de 50-50 des fonds entre les anciens et les nouveaux États membres.
The Council is also pursuing a debate on the best way to focus and deliver the funds in the next financial perspective so that they make the most efficient contribution to the EU’s regional development; asking a range of questions regarding the Commission’s proposals for the allocation of the funds, for the distribution between the three objectives, on the emphasis placed on convergence funding for richer regions, primarily in the richer Member States and the proposed 50-50 split of funding between the old and new Member States.
