Centre de réflexion par excellence sur la formation professionnelle sous l'angle socio-économique, la Fondation jouera également un rôle opérationnel réel puisqu'elle sera chargée de la mise en oeuvre du programme TEMPUS, qui connaît déjà un grand succès dans les milieux universitaires européens, et qu'elle développera dans le même temps de nouvelles activités importantes de formation professionnelle.
Although major rebuilding work is still going on, the Foundation will start to operate from the Villa Gualino as from January of next year. A centre of excellence for the development of vocational training from the socio-economic point of view, the Foundation will also have a practical role in implementing the Tempus programme, which has already met with considerable success in European university circles. At the same time the Foundation will develop important new vocational training activities.
