Afin de donner davantage les moyens au client final d'accéder aux informations découlant de la mesure et de la facturation de sa consommation individuelle d'énergie, compte tenu des possibilités associées à la mise en œuvre de systèmes intelligents de mesure et à la mise en place de compteurs intelligents dans les États membres, il est important que les exigences du droit de l'Union en la matière soient rendues plus claires.
In order to strengthen the empowerment of final customers as regards access to information from the metering and billing of their individual energy consumption, bearing in mind the opportunities associated with the process of the implementation of intelligent metering systems and the roll out of smart meters in the Member States, it is important that the requirements of Union law in this area be made clearer.
