Concernant une question connexe, j’aimerais souligner l’initiative relative aux adoptions internationales, domaine dans lequel il faut des réglementations mieux adaptées à la réalité et plus susceptibles de traiter des facteurs inconnus auxquels nous sommes confrontés aujourd’hui. Ce processus est déjà en cours dans certains États membres comme l’Espagne pour protéger les intérêts des mineurs.
On a related issue I would like to raise the initiative on international adoptions where there is a need for regulations which are better tailored to reality and which can address the unknown factors which we are faced with today; such a process is already under way in some States, such as Spain, safeguarding the best interests of minors.
