TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

Cet accord d'une durée de trois ans fait suite à la conclusion des négociations d'un accord bilatéral de commerce et de coopération entre la CE et l'URSS intervenu le 26 novembre 1989.
This three-year Agreement follows the conclusion of negotiations on a bilateral trade and cooperation Agreement between the Community and the Soviet Union on 26 November.

1. Du 22 au 26 novembre a eu lieu à Bruxelles, la troisième session des négociations en vue de la conclusion d'un accord de commerce et de coopération économique entre la CE et l'URSS. 2. Le chef de la délégation de la Communauté européenne, M. Gianluigi GIOLA et le chef de la délégation soviétique, le Prof. Ivan IVANOV ont achevé leurs négociations et adopté le texte d'un accord.
Press statement 1. The third session of negotiations for an agreement on trade and commercial and economic cooperation between the EC and the USSR took place from 22 to 26 November in Brussels. 2. The Head of the Delegation of the European Community, Mr. Gianluigi GIOLA, and the Head of the Delegation of the USSR, Prof. Ivan IVANOV, have concluded their negotiations and adopted the text of an agreement.

PERSPECTIVES FINANCIERES POUR L'EXERCICE 1994 Le Conseil a adopté, à l'unanimité, la décision concernant l'augmentation des plafonds de dépenses pour 1994 d'un montant de 175 mécus en crédits d'engagement et de 120 mécus en crédits de paiement, pour faire face à des besoins supplémentaires non prévus lors de l'établissement des perspectives financières, notamment en ce qui concerne les actions communautaires pouvant contribuer aux efforts de relance de l'activité économique et la contribution communautaire au processus de paix au Proche-Orient (2) Compte tenu de la lettre rectificative n° 1 au PB 1994, ces montants s'élèvent respectivement : Actions extérieures : 4.174,4 MECUS en c/e et 3.023,2 MECUS en c/p (3) Les taux d'augmentation pour les DNO : 3,93 % en c/e et 4,93 % en c/p. FINANCIAL PERSPECTIVE FOR 1994 The Council unanimously adopted a Decision increasing the expenditure ceilings for 1994 by ECU 175 million in commitment appropriations and by ECU 120 million in payment appropriations, in order to meet additional requirements not taken into account when the financial perspective was drawn up, in particular Community measures to contribute to the relaunch of economic activity and the Community contribution to the Middle East peace process. MISCELLANEOUS DECISIONS Community loan of ECU 1250 million to the former USSR: Eligibility of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan - Council conclusions On the Commission's initiative the Council took note of the arrangements concluded by Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan with the Government of the Russian Federation whereby Russia assumes full responsibility for payment of those countries' debt to foreign creditors arising from the debt of the former USSR (2) Taking account of letter of amendment No 1 to the 1994 DB, these amounts are respectively: External action: ECU 4.174,4 million in c/a and ECU 3.023,2 million in p/a (3) Taking account of letter of amendment No 1 to the 1994 DB, the rates of increase in NCE are: 3,93% in c/a and 4,93% in p/a.

Ils remplaceront en ce qui concerne l'Arménie, l'Azerbaïdjan et la Géorgie, l'accord signé avec l'ex-URSS en 1989 (actuellement encore en vigueur avec celles des Républiques de l'ex-URSS avec qui des accords nouveaux n'ont pas été encore conclus).
As regards Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia, they will replace the Agreement signed with the former USSR in 1989 (which is currently still in force with those Republics of the former USSR with which new Agreements have not yet been concluded).
