9. appelle à maintenir l'aide et l'assistance de l'Union au renforcement des capacités institutionnelles palestiniennes; souligne à nouveau, dans ce contexte, l'importance de consolider l'autorité du gouvernement d'union nationale palestinien et de son administration dans la bande de Gaza, ainsi que de mettre fin au blocus israélien de la région, tout en répondant aux préoccupations légitimes de sécurité d'Israël, dans les meilleurs délais; est convaincu que la réactivation et l'éventuelle extension de la portée et du mandat des missions EU BAM Rafah et EUPOL COPPS pourraient considérablement contribuer à ces efforts;
9. Calls for continued EU support and assistance for Palestinian institutional capacity building; stresses again, in this context, the importance of consolidating the authority of the Palestinian consensus government and its administration in the Gaza Strip, as well as of putting an end to the Israeli blockade of the area, while meeting the legitimate security concerns of Israel, without delay; is convinced that the reactivation and possible extension of the scope and mandate of the EUBAM Rafah and EUPOL COPPS missions could considerably contribute to these efforts;
