The Decision of 16 December 1980 setting up the Consultative Committee for the Fusion Programme, Decision 84/338/Euratom, ECSC, EEC, Decision 2006/970/Euratom, Decision 2006/976/Euratom, Decision 2006/977/Euratom, Regulation (Euratom) No 1908/2006, Decision 2012/93/Euratom, Regulation (Euratom) No 139/2012, Decision 2012/94/Euratom and Decision 2012/95/Euratom are repealed with effect from 1 January 2014.

Any references to the Council Decision of 21 April 1970 on the replacement of financial contributions from Member States by the Communities’ own resources , to Council Decision 85/257/EEC, Euratom of 7 May 1985 on the Communities’ system of own resources , to Council Decision 88/376/EEC, Euratom of 24 June 1988 on the system of the Communities’ own resources , to Council Decision 94/728/EC, Euratom of 31 October 1994 on the system of the European Communities’ own resources or to Decision 2000/597/EC, Euratom shall be construed as references to this Decision.

Au cas où cet amendement serait ajouté au texte du règlement (CE, Euratom) n° 2728/94 du Conseil, il convient de faire référence à la décision 94/179/Euratom du Conseil afin qu'il soit clair qu'aucune modification n'a été apportée aux dispositions régissant les prêts du Fonds de garantie aux pays tiers.
If this is inserted as new text in Council Regulation (EC, Euratom) No 2728/94, the reference to Council Decision 94/179/Euratom should be included in order to make it clear that no changes are being made in the rules on Guarantee Fund loans to third countries.

(3a) Loans from the Euratom Guarantee Fund to third countries (non-member states) will in future, as hitherto, be granted only in accordance with Council Decision 94/179/Euratom, Official Journal of the European Communities No L 84/41 of 21 March 1994, which means that funds cannot be lent to a third country to finance new nuclear power stations but only for measures to increase the level of safety at existing nuclear power installations.

La Commission est également habilitée à contracter, dans la même limite, de tels emprunts dont le produit sera affecté, sous forme de prêts, au financement de projets destinés à renforcer la sûreté et l'efficacité du parc nucléaire des États membres ou des pays tiers énumérés à l'annexe de la Décision 94/179/Euratom.
The Commission shall also be empowered to contract, within the same limits, borrowings, the proceeds of which will be allocated in the form of loans to finance projects to increase the safety and efficiency of the nuclear power stations within the Member States or the non-member countries listed in the Annex to Decision 94/179/Euratom.
