Article 18, Eric Lowther propose, Que le projet de loi C-2 , à l'article 18, soit modifié par adjonction après la ligne 34, page 12, de ce qui suit : " (1.1) Il est entendu que le directeur général des élections doit, avant de mettre en œuvre les programmes d'information et d'éducation populaire visés au paragraphe (1) dans un établissement d'enseignement relevant de la compétence d'une province, obtenir la permission du gouvernement de cette province" .
On Clause 18, Eric Lowther moved, That Bill C-2, in Clause 18, be amended by adding after line 33 on page 12 the following: " (1.1) For greater certainty, where the Chief Electoral Officer wishes to implement the public education and information programs referred to in subsection (1) in an educational institution that falls under the jurisdiction of a province, the Chief Electoral Officer shall obtain the permission of the government of that province" .
