The information should include a description of the co-ordination between this dialogue with industry and the dialogue with a broader range of organizations to be set up as a part of the 5th Environmental Programme. II. Use the principle of maximum use of standards where there is a need for detailed technical specifications with respect to environmental aspects within requirements of EC Directives and invite the European Standards Organizations when adopting or revising standards to give adequate weight to environmental considerations, in particular sound environmental management practices and the use of recycled and recyclable materials. III. Consider in co-operation with the Member States what can be done on a Community basis for enterprises in view of the special problems in combining environmental protection and competitiveness.
