TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

This Directive should provide for agreements to be made for the recognition of allowances between the Community scheme and other mandatory greenhouse gas emissions trading systems with absolute emissions caps, which are compatible with the Community scheme taking into account the level of environmental ambition and the presence of a robust and comparable emissions monitoring, reporting and verification mechanism and compliance system.

La réalisation de ces objectifs exige la mise en place d’un cadre législatif transparent et cohérent qui devrait contribuer à renforcer la cohérence entre les différentes politiques et favoriser l’intégration des préoccupations environnementales dans d’autres politiques telles que la politique commune de la pêche, la politique agricole commune et autres politiques communautaires pertinentes.
In order to achieve those objectives, a transparent and coherent legislative framework is required. This framework should contribute to coherence between different policies and foster the integration of environmental concerns into other policies, such as the Common Fisheries Policy, the Common Agricultural Policy and other relevant Community policies.

Support for the development of the motorways of the sea should be seen as complementary to the provision of Community aid as an incentive to the development of short sea shipping operations under the Marco Polo Programme established by Regulation (EC) No 1382/2003 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 22 July 2003 on the granting of Community financial assistance to improve the environmental performance of the freight transport system (Marco Polo Programme) and should be based on the same criteria.
