Par lettre reçue le 27 février 2014, les autorités françaises ont communiqué auprès de la Commission que l'entreprise SARL René Pujol, 11 avenue de Lattre de Tassigny, BP 52, 81230 Lacaune, l'entreprise La Lacaunaise Escande Pistre Cie, 7 boulevard Jean Jaurès, 81230 Lacaune, et l'entreprise Maison Nègre, charcuterie lacaunaise, 6 avenue de Naurois, 81230 Lacaune, établies sur leur territoire avaient légalement commercialisé le produit bénéficiant de la dénomination de vente «Saucisson de Lacaune»/«Saucisse de Lacaune» en utilisant de façon continue cette dénomination depuis plus de cinq ans, et que ce point avait été soulevé dans le cadre de la procédure nationale d'opposition.
By letter received on 27 February 2014, the French authorities notified the Commission that the companies SARL René Pujol, 11 avenue de Lattre de Tassigny, BP 52 81230 Lacaune, La Lacaunaise Escande Pistre Cie, 7, boulevard Jean-Jaurès, 81230 Lacaune, and Maison Nègre, Charcuterie Lacaunaise, 6 avenue de Naurois, 81230 Lacaune, which are established on their territory, had been legally marketing the product sold under the name ‘Saucisson de Lacaune’/‘Saucisse de Lacaune’, using this name continuously for more than five years, and that this point had been raised during the national opposition procedure.

5. se félicite en particulier que le Forum ait intégré la nécessité de reconnaître la diversité des approches de la RSE pour envisager comment faciliter la convergence; souligne le choix du mot "faciliter", par opposition à une convergence forcée; se félicite que l'initiative ait été laissée aux tables rondes du Forum quant à la réalisation de cet objectif; souligne que le concept de convergence doit couvrir la convergence d'opinion et de compréhension des limites de la responsabilité, ainsi que des défis auxquels sont confrontés les différentes entreprises, les entreprises de différentes tailles et les divers secteurs économiques; demande aussi au Forum de s'efforcer de remédier à la confusion pouvant résulter de la prolifération d'outils et d'instruments différents en matière de RSE;

Specifically welcomes the acknowledgement by the Forum of the need to recognise the diversity of CSR approaches when considering how to facilitate convergence; underlines the choice of the word facilitate rather than to force-fit convergence; welcomes the ownership granted to the Round Tables of the Forum in order to achieve this; observes that the concept of convergence should embrace convergence of opinion, of understanding on the boundaries of responsibility, and of the challenges faced by different businesses, sizes of businesses and business sectors; calls also for the Forum to seek to address potential confusion arising from the proliferation of different CSR tools and instruments;
