Le 17 février 2009, la Commission a reçu notification, conformément à l'article 4 du règlement (CE) no 139/2004 du Conseil (1), d'un projet de concentration par lequel l'entreprise Electrabel International Holdings BV, filiale indirecte à 100 % de GDF SUEZ SA (France), et GEK SA (Grèce) acquièrent, au sens de l'article 3, paragraphe 1, point b), du règlement du Conseil, le contrôle en commun de Heron Thermoelectric SA et Heron II Viotia Thermoelectric Station SA, deux entreprises de droit hellénique appartenant actuellement entièrement au groupe GEK, par achat d'actions.
On 17 February 2009, the Commission received a notification of a proposed concentration pursuant to Article 4 of Council Regulation (EC) No 139/2004 (1) by which Electrabel International Holdings BV, a wholly-owned indirect subsidiary of GDF SUEZ SA (France), and GEK SA (Greece) will acquire within the meaning of Article 3(1)(b) of the Council Regulation joint control by way of purchase of shares over Heron Thermoelectric SA and Heron II Viotia Thermoelectric Station SA, two companies incorporated under the laws of Greece and both currently fully-owned by the GEK Group.
