Peut-être ignore-t-elle que l'Assemblée nationale du Québec, qui est formée de trois partis: le Parti libéral du Québec — qui est, jusqu'à ce jour, fédéraliste et qui est d'ailleurs au pouvoir —, le Parti Québécois et l'Action démocratique du Québec, a adopté une motion unanime, la même que celle que nous déposons aujourd'hui et qui demande qu'on respecte le poids politique de la nation québécoise à l'intérieur de la Chambre des communes.
