In order to facilitate the provision to the public of information about the names so protected, and in particular to ensure protection and control of the use to which those names are put, the names may be entered in the register of protected designations of origin and protected geographical indications.

1. Les dénominations inscrites dans le registre prévu à l’article 7, paragraphe 6, du règlement (CE) no 510/2006 sont automatiquement inscrites dans le registre visé à l’article 11 du présent règlement.
1. Names entered in the register provided for in Article 7(6) of Regulation (EC) No 510/2006 shall automatically be entered in the register referred to in Article 11 of this Regulation.

Les dénominations en question sont inscrites dans le registre en tant qu’indications géographiques protégées à moins qu’elles n’aient été spécifiquement désignées dans ledit accord comme étant des appellations d’origine protégées au titre du présent règlement.
Unless specifically identified in the said agreement as protected designations of origin under this Regulation, such names shall be entered in the register as protected geographical indications.

Each of the six names in the Annex hereto is added to the Annex to Regulation (EC) No 2400/96 and entered as a protected designation of origin (PDO) or protected geographical indication (PGI), as the case may be, as provided in Article 6(3) of Regulation (EEC) No 2081/92.

If no statement of objections is notified to the Commission in accordance with Article 7, the name shall be entered in a register kept by the Commission entitled 'Register of protected designations of origin and protected geographical indications`, which shall contain the names of the groups and the inspection bodies concerned.
