Further to its consideration of the document on 'Good governance', the Committee on Petitions had already condemned the almost 'schizophrenic' attitude of the executive which, on the one hand vociferates the need to comply with provisions such as transparency, clarity and public consultation, and on the other 'draws the curtains' so that those outside cannot see what is happening inside the corridors of power in Brussels.
