La Commission européenne a décidé que Kvaerner Warnow Werft GmbH (KWW), chantier naval situé à Warnemünde, Mecklembourg-Poméranie-Occidentale, Allemagne, devait rembourser 41,5 millions d'euros (83 millions de DEM) d'aide à la restructuration parce qu'il dépasse le plafond de capacité annuel de 85 000 tbc qui lui a été imposé par la Commission comme condition d'approbation d'un montant substantiel d'aide à la restructuration, soit 637,6 millions d'euros (1,247 millions de DEM), dans le cadre de sa privatisation en 1992.
The European Commission has decided that Kvaerner Warnow Werft GmbH (KWW) in Warnemünde, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany, must pay back 41.5 million euro (DEM 83m) of restructuring aid because it exceeded its annual capacity limit of 85 000 cgt by 37 414 cgt in 1998. The Commission imposed the annual capacity limit as a condition for approving a substantial amount of restructuring aid, altogether 637.6 million euro (DM 1,247m), in the context of the yard's privatisation in 1992.
