TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

Le présent règlement est conforme aux droits fondamentaux et aux principes établis, en particulier, par la Charte des droits fondamentaux de l'Union européenne, notamment le respect de la dignité humaine et de la vie privée et familiale, le droit à la protection des données à caractère personnel, les droits de l'enfant, les droits des personnes âgées, l'égalité des sexes et l'interdiction de la discrimination.
This Regulation respects fundamental rights and observes the principles recognised in particular by the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union, including respect for human dignity and for private and family life, the right to the protection of personal data, the rights of the child, the rights of the elderly, equality between men and women, and the prohibition of discrimination.

L'adoption et la publication de sanctions devraient respecter les droits fondamentaux établis dans la Charte des droits fondamentaux de l'Union européenne, en particulier le droit au respect de la vie privée et familiale (article 7), le droit à la protection des données à caractère personnel (article 8) et le droit à un recours effectif et à accéder à un tribunal impartial (article 47).
The adoption and publication of sanctions should respect fundamental rights as laid down in the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union, in particular the right to respect for private and family life (Article 7), the right to the protection of personal data (Article 8) and the right to an effective remedy and to a fair trial (Article 47).

Welcomes the Commission Communication on the Strategy for the effective implementation of the Charter of Fundamental Rights by the European Union referring among others to its preventing approach in the effective implementation, the importance of internal training on fundamental rights, the systematic check of the fundamental rights aspect of the Commission's impact assessments by the Impact Assessment Board, as well as the targeted communication measures tailored to various situations needed in this respect; furthermore welcomes the emphasis of the above-mentioned Commission Communication regarding the importance of the political criteria for accession laid down by the 1993 Copenhagen European Council requiring candidate countries to have stable institutions guaranteeing democracy, the rule of law, human rights and respect for and protection of minorities; the preservation of this criterion is supporting the protection of fundamental rights in the future Member States;

Member States should ensure that actions under the Fund respect the obligations derived from fundamental rights, laid down in particular in the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms (the European Convention on Human Rights), the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union, the Geneva Convention relating to the Status of Refugees of 28 July 1951 as supplemented by the New York Protocol of 31 January 1967, and other relevant international instruments, such as the 1989 United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, where applicable.
