TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

Les conflits armés ne présentant pas un caractère international font l'objet des dispositions de l'article 3, commun aux conventions de Genève, et des dispositions du protocole additionnel de 1977 (protocole II), lorsque l'État concerné est partie à celui-ci. Les règles du droit international coutumier s'appliquent aux conflits armés tant internationaux qu'internes, mais il existe là aussi des différences entre les deux régimes.
Non-international armed conflicts are subject to the provisions in Article 3 common to the Geneva Conventions and, where the State concerned is a Party, in the 1977 Additional Protocol II. Rules of customary international law apply to both international and internal armed conflicts but again there are differences between the two regimes.
