Je pense que les pays donateurs doivent écouter avec davantage d'attention les voix qui viennent non seulement du gouvernement mais surtout des organisations de femmes qui disent avec force qu'il faut réduire à l'impuissance les chefs de guerre, et reconstruire sur la base du droit et de la démocratie, parce qu'il ne peut y avoir de démocratie là où existe la torture, là où sont perpétrés des massacres comme à Mazar-I-Sharif.
Donor countries should pay greater heed to the government, but above all to women’s organisations which are saying loud and clear that the warlords’ power must be cut off and the country must be reconstructed on the basis of law and democracy, because there can be no democracy if there is torture or massacres such as the one at Mazar-i-Sharif.
