Définition: Episode dépressif, éventuellement prolongé, survenant au décours d'une maladie schizophrénique. Certains symptômes schizophréniques positifs ou négatifs doivent encore être présents, mais ne dominent plus le tableau clinique. Ce type d'état dépressif s'accompagne d'un risque accru de suicide. Si le patient ne présente plus aucun symptôme schizophrénique, on doit faire un diagnostic d'épisode dépressif (F32.-). The Commission has also decided, after more than 20 years, to resurrect its inspections of Member States' plants with the aim of checking the level of radioactivity in the atmosphere and whether the basic standards are being observed/.- 2 - The objective is to try to prevent and to limit any consequences of possible accidents, and these actions must run in harness with other initiatives aimed at reducing or, better still, eliminating the likelihood of situations which might develop into serious accidents. It is with this in mind that the Commission intends to look for new ways to help in improving the reliability of materials.

In the course of the debate in Parliament on the world economic situation, the President of the Commission made the following points : - the expected slowdown in the United States economy next year would force Europe to shoulder its responsibilities ; - on the question of structures, three issues would need to be tackled : . instability in financial markets : an agreement should be sought within the OECD on common prudential rules ; . excessive debt burden : a better distribution of tasks between the IMF and the World Bank should make it possible for the concept of conditionality to be revised and adapted to present circumstances ; the commercial banks should play their part although this required harmonization of the tax rules on provisions ; export credits should be granted again (possibly within a European framework) ; . despite growing economic interdependence, international economic institutions had not yet been strengthened, nor had the "tigers of South East" been included in the worldwide consultation process.
