À moins que le gouvernement fédéral veuille complètement invalider la loi québécoise et les dispositions du Code civil qui portent sur les renseignements personnels et le commerce électronique, il doit impérativement retourner s'asseoir avec les provinces et négocier avec elles les dispositions d'une loi satisfaisante.
Unless the federal government wants to completely invalidate the Quebec statute and relevant provisions of the Civil Code with respect to personal information and electronic commerce, it has no choice but to go back to the bargaining table with the provinces and negotiate a satisfactory bill.
