Par dérogation à l’article 8, les travailleurs frontaliers qui sont bien connus des gardes-frontières parce qu’ils franchissent fréquemment la frontière par le même point de passage frontalier et qui, sur la base de vérifications initiales, ne sont signalés ni dans le SIS ni dans un fichier de recherche national ne seront soumis qu’à des vérifications par sondage afin de vérifier qu’ils détiennent un document valable les autorisant à franchir la frontière et qu’ils remplissent les conditions nécessaires à l’entrée.
By way of derogation from Article 8, cross-border workers who are well known to the border guards owing to their frequent crossing of the border at the same border crossing point and who have not been revealed by an initial check to be the subject of an alert in the SIS or in a national data file shall be subject only to random checks to ensure that they hold a valid document authorising them to cross the border and fulfil the necessary entry conditions.

5.2. Par dérogation à l'article 8, les travailleurs frontaliers qui sont bien connus des gardes‑frontières parce qu'ils franchissent fréquemment la frontière par le même point de passage frontalier et qui, sur la base de vérifications initiales, ne sont signalés ni dans le SIS ni dans un fichier de recherche national ne seront soumis qu'à des vérifications par sondage afin de vérifier qu'ils détiennent un document valable les autorisant à franchir la frontière et qu'ils remplissent les conditions nécessaires à l'entrée.
5.2. Shared border crossing points located on Member State territory: bilateral agreements establishing shared border crossing points located on Member State territory shall contain an authorisation for third-country border guards to exercise their tasks in the Member State, respecting the following principles:

12) «surveillance des frontières», la surveillance des frontières entre les points de passage frontaliers et la surveillance des points de passage frontaliers en dehors des heures d'ouverture fixées, en vue d'empêcher les personnes de se soustraire aux vérifications aux frontières;

Les transporteurs doivent notamment transmettre les informations suivantes: numéro et type du document de voyage utilisé, nationalité, nom et date de naissance du passager, point de passage frontalier utilisé pour pénétrer dans l'UE, heures de départ et d'arrivée du transport, nombre total de personnes transportées,
Carriers are required to transmit the following information: number and type of travel document used, nationality, name and date of birth of the passenger, border crossing point of entry into the EU, departure and arrival time of the transportation, total number of passengers carried.

Par dérogation aux dispositions du présent règlement relatives à l'établissement de points de passage frontaliers, et jusqu'à l'entrée en vigueur d'une décision du Conseil sur l'application de la totalité des dispositions de l'acquis de Schengen en Croatie, conformément à l'article 4, paragraphe 2, de l'acte d'adhésion ou jusqu'à ce que ce règlement soit modifié pour y inclure des dispositions régissant le contrôle des frontières aux points de passage frontaliers communs, la date retenue étant la plus proche, la Croatie peut maintenir les points de passage frontaliers communs sur sa frontière avec la Bosnie-Herzégovine.
By way of derogation from the provisions of this Regulation relating to the establishment of border crossing points, and until the entry into force of a decision by the Council on the full application of the provisions of the Schengen acquis in Croatia pursuant to Article 4(2) of the Act of Accession or until this Regulation is amended to include provisions governing border control at common border crossing points, whichever is the earlier, Croatia may maintain the common border crossing points at its border with Bosnia and Herzegovina.
