Une analyse scientifique très récente ayant posé la question de savoir si la Bosnie ne servait pas de point d’appui européen au réseau terroriste d’Osama ben Laden, j’aimerais que le Conseil et la Commission nous disent s’ils disposent d’indications confirmant que des partisans de Ben Laden sont actuellement actifs dans la partie occidentale des Balkans et, si cette information se confirme, comment l’UE et ses États membres, en étroite collaboration avec les USA, cela va de soi, pensent contrer cette dangereuse tentative de déstabilisation de la région ?
Further to a recently published scientific analysis of the question whether Bosnia might function as European base for Osama bin Laden’s terrorist network, I should like to find out from the Council and Commission whether they have any concrete indications that Bin Laden followers are indeed active in the Western section of the Balkans and if so, how the EU and its Member States, obviously in close cooperation with the US, intend to stand up to this dangerous destabilisation of that region.
