J'ai été impressionné par le discours récemment prononcé par notre collègue, le sénateur Ringuette, qui a porté à notre attention certains des problèmes qui existent au pays sur le plan de la géographie et de l'endroit où habitent les Canadiens et sur la façon dont ce principe d'égalité d'accès s'applique non seulement aux services reçus mais, plus important encore, au droit de participer à la vie de la fonction publique.
I was impressed by the speech that was given recently by our colleague Senator Ringuette, who spoke and drew our attention to some of the problems that exist in this country in terms of the geography and the place where Canadians are living, and how this principle of equal access to not only the service received from but, more important, the right to participate in the public service.
