En outre, 28 projets ont été cofinancés par l’action RTE-télécom dans le cadre d’appels communs dans les domaines intéressant les PME des secteurs du multimédia et du tourisme.

La plupart des projets concernant les 14 réseaux transeuropéens (RTE) prioritaires dans le domaine des transports sont en bonne voie de réalisation et trois d'entre eux seront même terminés avant l'an 2000 : tels sont les enseignements d'un rapport de la Commission européenne sur le suivi et la mise en oeuvre des 14 projets RTE, dont les conclusions seront présentées aux chefs d'Etat et de gouvernement au Conseil européen de Cardiff, les 15 et 16 juin.
Most of the 14 priority TransEuropean Transport Network (TENs) projects are now on track and three are due for completion by the year 2000, according to a report by the European Commission on the progress and implementation of the 14 TENs projects, the results of which will be presented to the Heads of State and Government at the European Council meeting in Cardiff on 15 and 16 June.
