L’amendement 1, dont je suis l’auteur, et l’amendement 16 de M. Elles sont, à mon avis, totalement conformes aux critères et ne constituent nullement une tentative de contrecarrer l’aspiration de la Turquie à l’adhésion.
My Amendment No 1 and Mr Elles’s Amendment No 16 are, to my mind, fully in compliance with the criteria and are not in any way an attempt to thwart Turkey’s aspiration to accession.
