En outre, à la suite d'autres licenciements collectifs en Aragon, l'Espagne a introduit les demandes EGF/2008/004 ES/Castille-León et Aragon (1 082 licenciements dans l'industrie automobile, dont 594 en Aragon) et EGF/2010/016 ES/Aragón – Commerce de détail (1 154 licenciements dans le secteur de la distribution) en vue d'une contribution financière du FEM.
Furthermore, following other mass redundancies in the Aragón region, Spain submitted applications EGF/2008/004 ES Castilla y León Aragón (1 082 redundancies in the automotive industry of which 594 occurred in Aragón) and EGF/2010/016 ES Aragón retail (1 154 redundancies in the retail sector) for financial contributions from the EGF.

The Working Group on the European Global Adjustment Fund and the coordinators of the Committee on Employment and Social Affairs are in favour of mobilising the EGF in the case of the EGF/2008/005 ES/Cataluña and EGF/2009/001 PT/Norte-Centro applications.

Après un examen attentif des deux demandes, la commission de l'emploi et des affaires sociales admet qu'elles satisfont toutes deux aux critères prévus par le règlement (CE) n° 1927/2006 et se prononce donc pour la mobilisation du FEM aux demandes de l'Espagne et de la Commission, respectivement la demande EGF/2008/004 ES/Castille-León et Aragon et la demande d'assistance technique à l'initiative de la Commission.
Following this thorough examination of the two applications, the EMPL Committee acknowledges that both requests fulfil the criteria laid out in the Regulation (EC) No 1927/2006 and, therefore, is in favour of mobilising the EGF for the cases submitted by Spain and the Commission: EGF/2008/04/ES/Castilla y Léon/Aragón and Technical Assistance at the initiative of the Commission.
