all foreign exchange swaps transactions, in which euro are bought/sold spot against a foreign currency and re-sold or re-bought at a forward date at a pre-agreed foreign exchange forward rate with a maturity of up to and including one year (defined as transactions with a maturity date of not more than 397 days after the settlement date of the spot leg of the foreign exchange swap transaction), between the reporting agent and other monetary financial institutions (MFIs), other financial intermediaries (OFIs), insurance corporations, pension funds, general government or central banks for investment purposes as well as with non-financial corporations classified as “wholesale” according to the Basel III LCR framework;

La période au cours de laquelle sont constatés les taux de change au comptant s'étend du mercredi d'une semaine au mardi de la semaine suivante, précédant la date de fixation de l'aide.
3. The spot market rates referred to in Article 12a (2) (b), second indent of Regulation (EEC) No 2036/82 shall be derived from the ECU rates established daily by the Commission for the currencies concerned and published in the Official Journal of the European Communities 'C' series. The period during which the spot market rates are recorded shall run from the Wednesday of one week to the Tuesday of the following week prior to the date on which the aid is fixed.
