Cette session avait pour objectif de collecter des informations sur l’état actuel du débat scientifique à propos du changement climatique et en particulier sur les questions suivantes: Qu'est-ce qu'un changement climatique dangereux? Quels impacts attendre des niveaux de réchauffement climatique, en se fondant sur le dernier rapport du GIEC? Quels sont les niveaux de concentration atmosphérique et d’émissions compatibles avec l’objectif communautaire de limitation du réchauffement en deçà de 2°C?
The main objective of the thematic session was to gather information on the current status of the scientific debate on climate change and in particular on the questions what is dangerous climate change, what level of impact can be expected for different levels of global warming based on the latest IPCC report, what are the atmospheric concentration levels and the emission levels that are consistent with the EU 2°C target, and on the global climate change impact on our cultural heritage.
