TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

1. Le présent accord vise à appliquer les dispositions du règlement (CE) no 343/2003 du Conseil, du 18 février 2003, établissant les critères et mécanismes de détermination de l’État membre responsable de l’examen d’une demande d’asile présentée au Danemark ou dans tout autre État membre de l’Union européenne («règlement Dublin II»), du règlement (CE) no 2725/2000 du Conseil, du 11 décembre 2000, concernant la création du système «Eurodac» pour la comparaison des empreintes digitales aux fins de l’application efficace de la convention de Dublin («règlement Eurodac») et de leurs mesures d’application aux rapports entre la Communauté et le Danemark conformément à l’article 2, paragraphes 1 et 2.
1. The aim of this Agreement is to apply the provisions of Council Regulation (EC) No 343/2003 of 18 February 2003 on the criteria and mechanisms for establishing the Member State responsible for examining a request for asylum lodged in Denmark or any other Member State of the European Union (Dublin II Regulation), Council Regulation (EC) No 2725/2000 of 11 December 2000 concerning the establishment of Eurodac for the comparison of fingerprints for the effective application of the Dublin Convention (Eurodac Regulation) and their implementing measures to the relation between the Community and Denmark, in accordance with Article 2(1) and 2(2).

S’agissant des coûts administratifs et opérationnels liés à l’installation et au fonctionnement de l’unité centrale d’Eurodac, le Danemark verse au budget annuel de l’Union européenne un montant annuel calculé sur la base des crédits budgétaires alloués à cette fin, conformément au pourcentage du PNB danois par rapport au PNB global de l’ensemble des États participants.
As far as administrative and operational costs linked to the installation and operation of the Central Unit of Eurodac are concerned, Denmark shall contribute to the annual budget of the EU an annual sum, calculated on the basis of the budgetary appropriations allocated for that purpose, in accordance with the percentage of the Danish gross national product in relation to the overall gross national product of all participating States.

2. Le Danemark s’engage à ne pas conclure d’accords internationaux susceptibles d’altérer ou de modifier la portée des règlements tels qu’annexés au présent accord concernant la détermination de l’État membre responsable de l’examen d’une demande d’asile ou les mesures relatives à la comparaison des empreintes digitales de ressortissants de pays tiers couvertes par le «règlement Eurodac» à moins d’agir avec l’accord de la Communauté et que des modalités satisfaisantes soient prévues s’agissant des rapports entre le présent accord et l’accord international en question.
2. Denmark will abstain from entering into international agreements which may affect or alter the scope of the Regulations as annexed to this Agreement concerning the determination of responsibility for examining an asylum application or measures concerning the comparison of fingerprints of third country nationals covered by the Eurodac Regulation unless it is done with the agreement of the Community and satisfactory arrangements have been made with regard to the relationship between this Agreement and the international agreement in question.

While noting with satisfaction that the EU is on track to meet its 2020 target, expresses its concern at the large number of countries (Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Spain and the United Kingdom) which, according to the Commission’s 2015 Renewable Progress Report 2014-2020 estimates, may have to strengthen their policies and tools to ensure they meet their 2020 objectives, while achievement thereof is also not certain in the case of Hungary and Poland; calls on Member States that are lagging behind to undertake additional measures to get back on track; welcomes the fact that some Member States have already met or will very shortly meet their 2020 targets, well ahead of time, such as Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Croatia, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Austria, Romania, Finland and Sweden.

Enfin, certains Etats Membres estiment que la périodicité du rapport pourrait être modifiée ; ainsi l’Irlande penche pour l’élaboration d’un rapport annuel tandis que le Danemark et la Belgique suggèrent d’allonger la période de rapportage à 5 voire 10 ans.
Finally, some Member States would like the frequency of the report changed. Ireland is in favour of an annual report whereas Denmark and Belgium suggest extending the reporting period to five or even ten years.
