Elle croît certainement beaucoup plus vite dans l'UE, et je pense que nous aurions probablement une leçon de tirer de l'UE en ce sens que les pays qui en font partie — et je ne veux pas dire par là que nous voulons imiter tout ce que l'UE fait —, ont dû se pencher sur leurs cadres réglementaires et que la création elle-même de l'organisme supranational les a obligés à se demander ce qui fonctionnait et ce qui ne fonctionnait pas, particulièrement dans le domaine alimentaire.
It certainly is growing a lot faster in the EU, and I think we can probably take a lesson from the EU in the sense that because of the creation of the European Union and that's not to suggest that everything they do is something we would want to emulate on all fours they've had to look at all of their regulatory processes, but the actual act of creating this supranational body has required them to look at the things that work and the things that don't work, and particularly in the area of food.
