(5) Pour l’application du paragraphe 175(3) et des articles 175.01, 175.1, 176 à 177.1, 179 à 181 et 186 à 188, si un animal importé porte un indicateur d’un pays étranger et que le ministre constate, d’une part, que cet indicateur répond aux critères prévus au paragraphe 173(2) et d’autre part, que le numéro d’identification qu’il porte peut être intégré et retrouvé dans une base de données de l’administrateur responsable, l’indicateur est réputé être une étiquette approuvée qui a été délivrée et apposée sur l’animal conformément à la présente partie.
(5) For the purposes of subsection 175(3) and sections 175.01, 175.1, 176 to 177.1, 179 to 181 and 186 to 188, if an imported animal bears an indicator of a foreign country and the Minister determines that the indicator meets the criteria set out in subsection 173(2) and that the identification number on the indicator can be entered and tracked in the responsible administrator’s database, the indicator is deemed to be an approved tag that was issued and applied to the animal in accordance with this Part.

3. If the used name of the feed material corresponds to one of the names included in the Community Catalogue referred to in Article 25, but the person responsible for the labelling is not applying the provisions thereof or the product does not meet the criteria set out therein, this shall be clearly indicated on the label.
