International standards now emphasise the importance of extending the scope of and the access to information available to FIUs (this is currently limited in certain Member States by the requirement to file a prior "Suspicious Transaction Report").

La plateforme des CRF de l'Union a été établie pour formuler des orientations sur des questions de mise en œuvre pertinentes pour les CRF et les entités déclarantes, pour faciliter les activités des CRF, notamment celles concernant la coopération internationale et l'analyse conjointe, pour partager des informations sur les tendances et les facteurs de risque sur le marché intérieur, et pour garantir la participation des CRF à la gouvernance du système FIU .net.
The EU FIUs' Platform has been set up to formulate guidance on implementation issues relevant for FIUs and reporting entities, to facilitate the FIUs' activities, particularly those concerning international cooperation and joint analysis, to share information on trends and risk factors in the internal market, and to ensure the participation of the FIUs in the governance of the FIU.net system .

L'adoption, lors de la session conjointe du Conseil ECOFIN/JAI du 17 octobre 2000, de la décision relative à l'échange d'informations entre les CRF a constitué une étape importante dans l'instauration d'une coopération mutuelle entre les CRF des États membres.
The adoption of the Decision on exchange of information between FIUs at the joint ECOFIN/JHA Council meeting on 17 October 2000 was a significant step in elaborating mutual cooperation between Member States' FIUs.
