La couronne estonienne, le litas lituanien et le tolar slovène ont tous trois rejoint le MTC 2 le 28 juin 2004, tandis que la couronne tchèque, le forint hongrois, la livre chypriote, le lats letton, la lire maltaise, le zloty polonais, ainsi que les couronnes slovaque et suédoise n'y ont pas encore adhéré. Bien que les trois monnaies admises depuis le 28 juin 2004 soient restées stables vis-à-vis de l'euro, aucun des pays examinés n'a participé au MTC 2 pendant la durée requise.
On 28 June 2004, the Estonian kroon, Lithuanian litas and Slovenian tolar joined ERM II. The Czech koruna, Hungarian forint, Cyprus pound, Latvian lats, Maltese lira, Polish zloty, Slovak koruna and Swedish krona have not yet joined ERM II. While the three currencies participating in ERM II since 28 June 2004 have been stable vis-à-vis the euro, no country examined has participated in ERM II for the required period.
