Dans ce contexte, la Cour constate également que, contrairement au raisonnement exposé dans les arrêts du Tribunal, les États membres sont obligés de communiquer à la Commission les raisons pour lesquelles ils considèrent que la phase finale de la Coupe du monde ou de l’EURO constitue, dans son intégralité, un événement unique ayant une importance majeure pour leur société.
In that regard, the Court also states that, contrary to the grounds given in the judgments under appeal, the Member States are required to communicate to the Commission the reasons justifying why they consider that the final stage of the World Cup or the EURO constitutes, in its entirety, a single event of major importance for society in the States concerned.
