Je soutiens que cette mesure serait très conforme aux critères exposés dans l'alinéa 43(1)c), ce qui permettrait au Sénat d'entendre le point de vue du commissaire de façon ouverte et transparente, et d'apporter un vrai correctif aux soupçons qui pèsent actuellement sur ce haut fonctionnaire de notre Parlement.
I argue that this would be very much in the spirit and would fulfil the criteria of rule 43(1)(c) which would enable the Senate to hear the views of the Privacy Commissioner in an open and transparent manner, and provide a genuine remedy for the cloud that is now over this officer of our Parliament.
