Mais je tiens tout de même à souligner qu'au lieu de se demander si cette loi, dans son libellé actuel, est d'une quelconque utilité, il me semble qu'on devrait se pencher sur la gestion de la faune, compétence qui a été confiée aux provinces, à l'exception des pêches et des oiseaux migrateurs, visés par une convention internationale, outre la convention internationale régissant le commerce illicite des espèces en péril.Pourquoi n'y a-t-il personne qui suggère que la gestion de la faune relève des provinces?
