TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

Aux termes de cette convention, les biens culturels sont des biens «désignés par chaque État comme étant d'importance pour l'archéologie, la préhistoire, l'histoire, la littérature, l'art ou la science».
This Convention describes cultural property as that "specifically designated by each State as being of importance for archaeology, prehistory, history, literature, art or science".

The European Border and Coast Guard, which includes the Agency and the national authorities of Member States which are responsible for border management, including coast guards to the extent that they carry out border control tasks, should fulfil its tasks in full respect for fundamental rights, in particular the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union (‘the Charter’), the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms, relevant international law, including the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women, the Convention Relating to the Status of Refugees and obligations related to access to international protection, in particular the principle of non-refoulement, the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea, the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea, and the International Convention on Maritime Search and Rescue.

(b) the aggregate of the income tax that would be payable under Part I of the Act by Spruce Falls for the year and the interest and penalties in respect thereof that would be payable by it under the Act for the year, if subsections 13(4) and (4.1) and section 44 of the Act were to apply to the assignment by Spruce Falls of the Water Power Lease Agreement to Ontario Hydro and the acquisition by Spruce Falls of the Power Rights Agreement as if the Water Power Lease Agreement were a former business property and the Power Rights Agreement were depreciable property acquired as a replacement for that former business property, as those terms are defined for the purposes of the Act, and as if Spruce Falls had elected under subsection 13(4) of the Act as and when required for that subsection to apply with respect to the disposition of the Water Power Lease Agreement and the acquisition of the Power Rights Agreement.

In addition, the Council recommended that the Member States consider the ratification of the Unesco Convention on the Means of Prohibiting and Preventing the Illicit Import, Export and Transfer of Ownership of Cultural Property signed in Paris on 17 November 1970, and the UNIDROIT Convention on Stolen or Illegally Exported Cultural Objects signed in Rome on 24 June 1995.

Toutefois, en dehors de la convention et ce sera le sens de ma question , il y a des règlements que le gouvernement adopte et qui font en sorte que même si la convention est bien rédigée comme c'est le cas pour les quatre conventions qui sont devant nous , on peut faire des exceptions.
However, apart from the treaty and this will be the gist of my question there are regulations that the government adopts and under which, even if the treaty is well drafted as is the case of the four treaties before us exceptions can be made.
