La contribution financière maximale de l'Union à l'initiative Shift2Rail est de 450 000 000 EUR, ce qui comprend les contributions des pays membres de l'Association européenne de libre-échange ( AELE) ; elle est prélevée sur les crédits du budget général de l'Union alloués au programme spécifique d'exécution du programme-cadre « Horizon 2020» conformément aux dispositions pertinentes de l'article 58, paragraphe 1, point c) iv), et aux articles 60 et 61 du règlement (UE, Euratom) n° 966/2012 concernant les organismes visés à l'article 209 dudit règlement.
1. The maximum Union financial contribution to the Shift2Rail initiative shall be EUR 450 million, including the contributions from the Member States of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) , paid from the appropriations in the general budget of the Union allocated to the Horizon 2020 Specific Programme implementing the Horizon 2020 Framework Programme, in accordance with the relevant provisions of Article 58(1)(c)(iv) and Articles 60 and 61 of Regulation (EU, Euratom) No 966/2012 for bodies referred to in Article 209 of that Regulation.

38. rend hommage à la contribution essentielle de l'opération EUNAVFOR Atalanta de lutte contre la piraterie dans le golfe d'Aden et dans la partie occidentale de l'océan Indien et à sa contribution au niveau humanitaire et de la sécurité maritime, en protégeant les navires du Programme alimentaire mondial ainsi que d'autres navires vulnérables, et approuve l'extension de son mandat jusqu'en décembre 2014; approuve aussi l'extension du champ d'action de cette mission à la zone côtière ainsi qu'aux eaux territoriales et aux eaux intérieures de la Somalie; invite les États membres à fournir des moyens adéquats, navals et aériens, à cette opération et encourage les navires de commerce à poursuivre l'application des bonnes pratiques de navigation pour limiter les risques d'attaque; salue la contribution des Pays-Bas à l'opération Atalanta sous la forme d'une équipe de protection embarquée destinée à assurer la sécurité des convois humanitaires et encourage les autres États membres à fournir ce type de contribution;
38. Pays tribute to the vital contribution made by the EUNAVFOR Atalanta operation in combating piracy in the Gulf of Aden and the western Indian Ocean and its humanitarian contribution to ensuring maritime safety by protecting World Food Programme ships and other vulnerable vessels, and approves the extension of its mandate until December 2014; approves also the extension of the scope of this mission to include Somalia’s coastal zone and territorial and inland waters; calls on the Member States to provide adequate air and sea resources for this operation and encourages commercial vessels to continue to apply best navigational practices so as to reduce the risk of attack; welcomes the contribution by the Netherlands to Operation Atalanta in the form of an on-board protection team intended to ensure the safety of humanitarian convoys and encourages other Member States to make this type of contribution;
